1/4/18 CAMPAIGN UPDATE: Thanks to very generous year-end contributions, the Club has met the $25,000 Challenge one month ahead of schedule!! Together, with the challenge gift by one of our generous donors, we are able to cover this year’s loss of United Way funding for our Club and our Kids! We are humbled by this call to action by our community! And while we have much to be thankful for, there is still more work to be done and we look to your continued support of this year’s special events – Lottery Raffle, Chowder Cup Golf Tournament, Bids for Kids Auction and Great Futures Campaign. The Club is off to a great start and your support has positioned us to maintain all of our programming that we provide to over 1,300 members! Thank you for being difference makers in our community.
11/15/17: A Club Alum has generously offered a $25,000 Challenge Gift to help every youth attending the Boys & Girls Club of East Aurora find their Great Future! The donor is asking the Club Board, Staff and the EA community to raise $25,000 in new monies (over and above our current level of support) between now and January 31, 2018. If we can meet this goal, they will match every dollar making the grand total of donations $50,000! The Boys & Girls Club of East Aurora will use your support to replace the loss of United Way funding (-$44,000) and support Project Learn and other educational programs. Every one of our youth members deserves a chance at securing their Great Future. Please consider rounding up your current level of support.
12/12/17 UPDATE: THE DRAWING FOR THE BUFFALO SABRES BOX HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 22ND. FOR EVERY $100 DONATION, YOU WILL BE ENTERED FOR A CHANCE TO WIN TICKETS TO A SABRES BOX THAT INCLUDES FOOD AND DRINK! DONATE TODAY!! HELP SUPPORT OUR FUTURE ARTISTS AT THE CLUB! Thanks to everyone who has donated to the $25,000 Challenge. Because of your support, we are more than halfway to our goal! This week's video is titled The Artist. The Boys & Girls Club of East Aurora believes access to a variety of art experiences develops the social and emotional well-being of our youth. Our Arts & Crafts program provides painting, sculpting, drawing, collage, graphics, pottery, ceramics and other forms of creative expression throughout the school year!
11/28/17 UPDATE: Between now and December 12th, for every $100 donation made to our $25,000 challenge in the next two weeks, you will be entered for a chance to win win a Sabres box that will include tickets, food, and beverages!! (Example: $1,200 donation will get 12 chances!). Please consider donating today!
